  1. Why not give it a modern 2stroke powerplant, with advancements in emission technology and fuel /oil injection development the parallel twiqn 2stroke has proven a reliable as well as potent part of the RD (Race developed)legacy to use anything else would be a disservice to not only it’s racing heritage but from maintenance aspect as well. Two strokes require less moving parts therefore cost is lower for manufacturing and for maintenance it just seems more sense to use a clean burning 2-stroke power plant the technology is in place why not. I’m sure the amount of pollutants that a small two-stroke motorcycle puts out compared to everything else in the world is insignificant give us back the two stroke

  2. Well this is nonsense, Yamaha is not bringing a RD if it’s not a two stroke it’s no good news. I don’t understand why Yamaha can’t just bring out a proper two stroke it’s very simple with today’s technology and they would sell like hotcakes.
I really miss two strokes rd 350 rd 400 it490 it 175 tz 350 tz 250 so please bring back the two strokes.

  3. Why live in the past? We should be thinking of attracting new riders who essentially know nothing of 2 strokes not harping back to the old days. The RD350 looks great and I hope it succeeds.
